That tendency has always bugged me. The set of movie siblings that has always amazed me, though, is the 4-in-10-months spate of (actually pretty decent) baseball movies: Bull Durham (6/15/88) Eight Men Out (9/2/88) Major League (4/7/89) Field of Dreams (4/21/89) While not identical by any stretch, I think you'd at least be able to apply the word "misfits" in any description of each title. Very nicely done! That tendency has always bugged me. The set of movie siblings that has always amazed me, though, is the 4-in-10-months spate of (actually pretty decent) baseball movies:
